Maximum Package Size

What size package can I receive?

You can receive packages of just about any size. What you have to keep in mind is that we use air freight only. Items such as furniture and large appliances can be sent through MailPac, it just becomes very expensive to air freight as opposed to sending by sea freight. Large items that we often ship for account holders include items such as computers, electronics, car parts, ready-to-assemble furniture etc. (Please ensure that all shipments are packaged properly as we will not accept liability for damage to goods due to improper packaging.)

If you request for us to hold a package in Miami for pickup, the service charge will be US$1.00 per pound, payable in advance.

 

Delivery Time

How long does it take to receive mail and packages?

Deliveries are done either the same day or next business day after the cargo is cleared at the airport. From the time something gets to the mailbox or street address, it is usually 2-4 days before it is delivered to you in Haiti..

Delivery Charges

Is there a charge for delivery if I elect to have my mail and packages delivered?

There is no additional delivery charge for mail, magazines and small packages. A small delivery charge is added for large packages.

MY AERO

What is My Aero?

My AERO is a great feature of the Aeropost International Services, Inc. system that allows you to view on line all the information related to your packages. Also it is linked with all of the major carriers so that when you input a tracking number for UPS, DHL, FEDEX, or USPS, the program automatically returns all information relative to the package even though we have not actually received or processed it. Additionally, you will be able to view your statement on line and submit customer service inquiries. We are constantly adding new features so sign up today!

Restricted Items

Is there anything that I cannot receive through my MailPac account?

Items considered to be Dangerous Goods by Aviation Regulations will be put on hold in Miami and will no be shipped. These items include all aerosol cans and hazardous chemicals. If in doubt, please call us before shipping such items.

Street Address Drop Off

Can I drop off items at the street address to be sent to me in Jamaica?

Anyone can drop off items at the street address in Miami, to be shipped to you in Jamaica. The shipper will be given a tracking number for each delivery. Our opening hours in Miami are 8AM - 4PM (Miami Time) Monday - Friday. Please try to schedule deliveries between these hours.

Pick-up Service

Does MailPac provide pick up service in Miami?

We can provide pick up service for packages that you want sent to you in Jamaica. This service is at an additional cost quoted on an individual basis.

Residing Outside Haiti

What if I want to open an account but I live outside of Haiti?

You have several options. You can give us the address of a friend or relative in the corporate area that we can deliver you mail and packages to. You can elect to pick up your mail at our office or you can instruct us to send it to you via courier once a week. (This would be at your expense.)
