Now open on Saturdays

Please be advised that with effect from this Saturday, 15th November 2008 until 21st December 2008 we will be extending our work week by opening on Saturdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm for your convenience. We will also be doing deliveries on these days to selective routes and will advise accordingly on the routes that will be serviced.

We urge you to take advantage of all the online deals available and shop early for Christmas in the comfort of your homes, with all the choices available so that you and your family may have all your purchasing needs met at this time of year in a cost effective manner. Remember that we only charge you on the actual weight shipped and not on the volume or size of the box. Fuel Surcharge Increase

Due to increased airline transportation costs from Miami to Trinidad y Tobago UP Xpress has been forced to raise its fuel surcharge by 2%. Effective September 1st, 2008 the fuel surcharge will be 19%.

Payment Policy

We thank you for partnering with UP Xpress a member of The Aeropost Network as your preferred skybox provider. We are constantly upgrading our operation with software/internet and service enhancements as well as policies to ensure that there are minimal delays for the delivery of your mail, magazines and packages.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the company’s policy is and has always been COD (Cash On Delivery). *

With immediate effect our payment policy must be strictly followed, to ensure quick delivery of your mail, magazines and packages. Customers will no longer be given credit on mail, magazines and packages. At the end of the month you will receive your normal statement of activity on your account, which should always have a zero balance. All of your account information and activity is updated daily and viewable online in MY AERO by logging into your account at www.myaeropost.com. If you have not registered for MY AERO, go to www.myaeropost.com and register now. All you need is your account number an email address!

We accept the following methods of payment:

1. Cash/ Company Cheque on delivery.
2. Credit Card. (offline facility)
3. LINKS facility at our office.
4. Advanced cash deposit.

Credit Card Facility Recommended:

For ease of service and efficient delivery of packages we recommend that you authorize the offline credit card facility. To authorize charging your credit card for associated package and mail fees automatically and experience no delay on your deliveries, please fill out this form (http://www.aeropost.com/pos/downloads/CreditCardForm.pdf)
Please provide us with a primary and secondary card. Copies of the credit cards and ID are required for verification and processing. The card will be debited for the full amount after every transaction. In the event that the card is declined, cash payments upon delivery will be accepted.

Advanced Cash Deposit Option

In the case of the advanced cash deposit a fixed credit line is established based on shipping characteristics and the deposit made for this quantum. We recommend $25 USD for Basic and Gold accounts and $50.00 USD for Diamond Accounts. A draw down is debited against each shipment and once your balance is insufficient to cover additional deliveries, you will be asked to top up your deposit. The other forms of payment are self-explanatory.

We urge you to manage your account appropriately to avoid any disruption in service. Failure to comply may lead to account suspension after 30 days of outstanding debt and final closure after 45 days. Thereafter, the organization reserves the right to seek all possible methods to recover its outstanding funds inclusive of turning your account over to a collections agency. On such instances the customer shall be liable for all reasonable collection and/or legal charges incurred by the company in the recovery of any unpaid invoice balance or any sums payable by virtue of a returned cheque.

Shipments unclaimed after 60 days become the property of UP Xpress a member of the Aeropost Network and can be disposed of by whatever means necessary to recover outstanding debt.

Be sure to prealert all your packages so we can speed them through Miami and local customs, and assure their delivery even if your supplier accidentally forgets to include your account number.
